Sacramento is not a good place to live..crime is high, rentals are sky high compared to the rest of the country which makes no sense when unemployment is high and pay is getting lower this is due to greedy landlords..I am from sacramento and left in ’06 for more affordable Tennessee..think twice before moving there..the state jobs are shrinking..they are laying off more than hiring..this was written when the economy was not as bad as it is now..recently the sales tax increased at a time when the economy is very bad ..does this make sense? I think not..I know of college grad friends with accounting and business degrees..they cannot find work in Sacramento..it is one of the worst places to live.
