There are a million and one ways to do ribs, but your way is simple and very effective. I wholeheartedly agree with doing your own rub. Since I don’t have a smoker, I bake my ribs at 275 degrees for 2 and half hours and then barbecue them for ten minutes. Works out pretty good too.

Nr.1: Dont get pissy about people making ribs their own way, even if it means they boil them.
Nr.2: Dont get pissy at him for beeing a devoted rib smoker, even if you love your boiled ribs.
    the end, problem solved.

fishonmyplane 6 Hours is Not To long it All Depends on the Weight of What your Smoking to Determine the timeLine

  15. fishonmyplane says:

You can put a pan of water in the bottom of the smoker… the water vapor will help prevent the ribs from drying out.

But 6 hours is definitely too long. I usually do mine for about 4-5 hours at 225 F. At 250 F, they should be done in a little under 4 hours.

Then I saw your comments to other people…This is youtube. atleast 20% of commenters are being douche bags, so you should be used to it… I hoped you’d take the high road and not stoop to their level.

Really good help on the video though, props!
