Tasty Pulled Pork
Cut about 2-3 onions into cubes. Place the pork butt in the crock pot and pour in the onions. If you are using store bought barbeque sauce add the entire contents to the crock pot. If you make your own make enough for the equivalent of an 8 ounce bottle.
Cook the butt on medium heat for about 8-10 hours. Take the pork out of the crock pot and pull apart into shreds. Place the pork back into the crock pot to keep warm.
The pulled pork is enough to serve about 6-8 people. Serve on buns and layer with your favorite coleslaw.

My experience with a crock pot is that it will make a terrible cut of meat bearable and a prime or choice cut of meat terrible! I would suggest not putting in the BBQ sauce until the butt is finished. The sauce gets watered down during the cooking process. I might add a good teaspoon of Wrights Liquid Smoke during the cooking process and then mix in the sauce at the very end. Just my two cents worth.
Thank you for the great recipe! Just tried it out yesterday – when doing my regular writing job for a custom writing Company and must admit – the outcome was wonderful! Enjoyed the dish very much as well as my other family members!
